Red face Bedding/toys etc Wash

I wash Dylan's bedding/toys etc every week to keep them fresh and clean

Don't know why sometimes cos i've no sooner done them and mud-bucket pounces on in and covers them in dirt again

What about anyone else?

Im forever washing the dogs bedding , our bedding and throws , towels etc ... especially now when its just a major mudfest , even though their paws get wiped every time they come back into the house
My major bugbear is having just changed all the bedding (this happened today) , the little sods (my three angels , lol) manage to get upstairs after my OH walked them (someone left the stairgate open) and jumped all over my nice clean duvets leaving a lovely paw pattern everywhere , arghhh

sometimes im positive that theres more mud and muck brought into our house by my three than is in the whole garden

I don't bother washing Bob's toys, he destroys them all in minutes

Never wash toys, they don't last long enough, and beds get washed when I can be arsed to be honest. Luckily dals don't really have that doggy smell, so its not something I have to do weekly - however over winter they get washed more just for the simple fact they get muddier

Bedding gets done as and when it need to be done , throw on the sofa they and i sit on gets done once a week , toys only if they get smelly .
Having 3 dogs now i thought i would notice a cleaning issue but i guess having a barked toilet area at the bottom of the garden and a path leading to it means they rarely need to go on the grass to get wet feet .
I always have a big bath towel by the back door that i lay out like a welcome mat , they all in turn come walking over the towel drying paws as they go .

Duke has several cushions for his bed, I tend to wash the cover every week, and put a fresh cushion and cover on in his bed.

I don't have problems with smells because I use two large black bin liners as a matress protector for the inner cushion then put the zipped cover on.

I have a towel by the back door to wipe his feet with too a good piece of advice i was given once.

I dont have a problem with a doggy smell though, just wash things out of habit

LOL - I'm the same. Bedding gets washed when it needs.
Toys are never 'alive' long enough to bother with washing them.
